John ANASTOCIO Asuncion is an American director, editor, and colorist, with over ten years of experience working in the film industry. With a photography background, he got his first intro into the production world back in 2014, working as a 1st AC. He spent the first seven years of his career with Metis Creative, filming bike commercials all over the world and working with some of the biggest brands around. At the beginning of 2020, John went freelance to work as a director, editor, and colorist. His work spans commercial and short-form docs. John has been able to work and collaborate with brands such as Red Bull, On Running, Aprch CBD,10 Barrel, Specialized Bikes, Allianz, Dig Inn, Mural App, BBDO, Patagonia, Oregon Ducks Football, Apple & BrainDead.

While John isn’t working he’s spending downtime with his fiancé and their five-year-old German Shepherd. Mostly outside exploring their home state of Oregon, mountain biking, trail running, and finding the best food spots along the way.
